Construction manager for the development of a 83,00 SF facility including a 25,000 SF medical facility, (providing dental, visual, mental health, podiatry, audiology and pharmacy services), 23,000 SF clinic, a community living center (which provide private living quarters during medical rehabilitation), a 48-bed skilled nursing home and a special event facility to welcome home returning veterans.

THE BIRCHES AT VILLA RICA – A TANNER SENIOR LIVING COMMUNITY

The Birches at Villa Rica is a Tanner Health System Senior Living Community providing assisted living and memory care for seniors. RKR has had a fortunate, long-standing relationship with Tanner Health System. Having built numerous successful projects in the past such as Urgent Care Facilities, a Medical Expansion, and a Family Health Center, we were excited to build another project with them. This 47,000 SF project was special for RKR because it is one to deeply benefit the senior community and their families.

RKR worked to deliver a multiphase new construction and renovation project for Tanner Medical Center. The project consisted of four phases over multiple years. RKR allocated two Superintendents to the collaborative project and had management responsibility for the construction of the new central energy plant, construction of the 56,000-SF ground-up emergency department, and the new loading dock conversion.
