Polk County School District  |  Cedartown, GA

In 2018 R.K. Redding was awarded the Cedartown High School Fine Arts Addition project. This project, originally set to be built in 2006, had been a long time coming. After having to delay the project for 12 years, the community was more than ready to have a fine arts building of their own. Having worked for Polk County School District for over 15 years, RKR felt a greater responsibility to make this dream a reality. The nearly 26,000SF addition is a space utilized by the high school’s art, theater, and band students. The facility consisted of a new band room, art room, drama room, and classrooms. It also includes a 500-seat auditorium with a theater workshop under the stage and an elevator system to load in sets and props for performances.
