The Associated General Contractors of Georgia, Inc. (AGC Georgia) recently awarded R.K. Redding Construction, Inc. (RKR) first-place honors for the new North Paulding High School Addition. This award recognized RKR’s exceptional project management skills, safety measures, and attention to detail.
The North Paulding High School project represents the third major addition to the high school, expanding the campus by 72,110 square feet and delivering 40 new instructional units, including classrooms, science laboratories, and a specialized ROTC suite with a shooting range and armory. The addition was designed to support continued enrollment growth while integrating seamlessly into an actively occupied campus that had already undergone multiple expansions in the past.
Other AGC Georgia Awards for RKR include the following projects: Rockmart High School Fine Arts Center (2025), Bremen High School Addition (2024), Eastvalley Elementary School (2024), Verida (2023), The Birches at Villa Rica – A Tanner Senior Living Community (2022), Cedartown High School Fine Arts Center (2021), Lassiter High School Gymnasium (2020), Marietta High School College & Career Academy (2020), Gordon Lee High School (2019), Redbud Elementary School Gymnasium (2019), Belwood Elementary School Renovation (2019), Glynn Academy High School (2018), Lutheranch Retreat Center (2018), Polk County College and Career Academy (2018), Banneker High School Addition (2017), Alexander High School Competition Gymnasium (2016), Roopville Road Baptist Church Worship Center (2015), West Georgia Technical College Allied Healthcare Building (2014), Trinka Davis Veterans Village (2013), GT Boggs NRE Lab Renovation and UWG Campus Bookstore (2012), Paulding County High School Addition/Renovation (2011), UWG Greek Village (2010), North Paulding School Cluster (2009) and Rockmart Middle School (2008).
